Precious Crystal Found

Yesterday, after we were finally home again, Chris and Caitlin went looking for crystals and rocks and stones around the yard of the house we're staying in.

They came home with many rocks and stones (some with tiny pieces of crystals in them) and Cait was showing me her collection when all of a sudden, Chris said he would be right back.

He went around the back deck and picked up a transparent quartz crystal right off the ground! We don't know if it was left there by someone who might have purchased it or if it was really there in the ground, but the amazing thing was that he actually saw it on the ground (since it's clear in color and his eyes are not seeing very well these days!)
