Reunion with Joy (October 10th) and The Painting Begins (Today)

We arrived home on October 10 (Joy's birthday) and everyone was excited to see eachother!

Today, Caitlin wanted to begin her painting career (she wants to be an artist so bad - the trip to NM and the visit to the many art studios in the Plaza (and we were invited into someone's private studio after talking to a jewelry store owner in SF last week and after he sensed Caitlin's desire to be an artist) and to the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum have encouraged her even more to pursue her dreams.

Sandia Peak - Elevation 10,678 Feet (Last Day in New Mexico - October 9th)

We spent our last day in New Mexico by checking out of our house in Santa Fe, driving to Albuquerque, checking into the hotel, eating lunch and then driving to Sandia Peak to hike a bit (just only up 10,678 feet). LOL

Caitlin, of course, had fun - except for the times when she was pouting because we were walking too much. I think she wanted to CLIMB (not WALK) and we only climbed a few steps and no ladders on the Sandia trip...

She did earn another Junior Ranger badge though! I'll put pics of those up later (both Sandia and Bandelier).

Final Day in Santa Fe (October 8th)

We had a good day on our final day in Santa Fe. Just went back to the Plaza and took some more pics :)

We're Home from NM

Just wanted to let you know that we are home and had a good time on our vacation. Tomorrow, I'll be posting the pics from the rest of the trip and from our reunion with Joy Dog :)

Thank you again for your thoughts and prayers for us during our trip.

Please keep me in your prayers tomorrow as we have a "Walk To Remember" at the Church. We will be celebrating Noah's life along with other mommies who have lost their little ones. The Walk is being put on by MEND.

Taos, NM - Vacation Day # 6

We drove to Taos today (using "The High Road to Taos"). It was a beautiful day and we only took a handful of pictures but it was a good day - with beautiful sights (the aspens look awesome this time of year) and we shopped and ate all day together as a family.
