Rewind: Christmas Afternoon 2008 with Family

Uncle Mike and MeMe and Grandpa rounded out our family visiting on Christmas day. They came bearing lots of gifts and food too. Thank you, Uncle Mike and MeMe and Grandpa!

Uncle Mike with Joy. For those of you who don't know, Mike picked out Joy from a litter at a breeder and gave her to Chris for an early Christmas present in 2003.

Uncle Mike and Cait played play dough for a long time!

Cait was so excited about MeMe and Grandpa's big gift - a drum set!!

Hi Uncle Mike!

Cait with one last Hannah Montana glitter thingy on her sweet head wearing the most soft thing I've ever felt - a Barefoot Dreams sweater from Grammy!

Love the outfit? Get one of your own at Target (dollar section and girl's section), Old Navy, Walmart and Barefoot Dreams! :) LOL

Everyone about to enjoy Christmas Dinner

Rewind: Christmas Afternoon 2008 with Grammy

Grammy was the next family member to show up at our house on Christmas day. She came bearing many gifts for our Love and she also came with alot of our Christmas dinner (yummy) food. Thank you, Grammy!

Rewind: Christmas Morning 2008 with Uncle Jared

After Uncle Jared arrived around midnight on Christmas morning (after a 56+ hour flight with many layovers), he made his way home for a little shuteye and came to our house a little after 10 am to give Cait the gift he bought while in China: a beautiful tea set. She loved it but most of all she wanted to break open her sewing kits that Santa brought her earlier that morning (thank you Melanie for the idea on where to buy them!). Jared patiently helped Cait sew her first stuffed animal. It was too cute.

Rewind: Christmas Morning 2008 at The Hoyt House

**Blogger finally cooperated and let me post my pics!! :) Sorry there are so many but you'll understand when you find out what my gift was for Christmas :) **

Caitlin actually slept in (which was nice) but that gave us a late start to things. She waited for Mommy to put in her eyeballs (aka contacts) and then we entered the living room. She was so excited to see her new pink bow and arrow that she forgot about the easy bake oven! Too funny but fun to see her so excited about something she only told Daddy about one day at Gander Mtn. She truly believed that Santa brought that to her and it was precious!

Here are some pics from our morning together:

Problems uploading pics - Is anyone else having this problem?

I have been trying since yesterday to upload our Christmas pics and blogger keeps having this error 400. Is anyone else having this crazy problem?

I also have a great post that I wanted to put up sometime this weekend...now I'm worried I won't be able to...

Thanks and hope everyone is doing well today.
Amanda

P.S. I'll leave you with this: The best Caitlin-ism from this week/month/year/decade has to be: "Mom, when I fold my hands and pray, I am really holding God's hands."

Rewind: Christmas Eve 2008 at The Hoyt House

We left cookies and milk for Santa and a note that said simply, "I want a easy bake."
Caitlin was bouncing with excitement to see if Santa really would bring her the oven.
Here are some pics from our evening:
